Show Description:

"Elevating / Escalating" was the title of the very first Vamilienfa†er tape release on Kinship and later on became the title of a monthly radio show at Mutant Radio. Going through different season, the show started of as classic commented radio, showcasing different types of music, rooted in the experimental field, featuring a mix series by guest artists diving into the vast CD archive of the Anagram Berlin Record & Bookstore (formerly known as Staalplaat, the record shop, not the label). The second season focused on the extensive outlet of unreleased music produced by the shows host, with 1h trips through modular jams and field recordings. The third season is based on fresh & unearthed vinyl mixes. The fourth season – yet to come.

BIO:

„Vamilienfater“ is the moniker of Fillipp Vingerhoets, founder of the „bohemian drips“ label and artist collective, a experimental music label, devoted to spacial recordings in binaural audio. Together with A. Meurer, N. Goetz and Ian Medina, he works as an executive producer in all the labels releases.

Vingerhoets' soniv vision emerges from electronic amplifications of everyday life, blending a mix of urban- / nature- based lo-fi field recordings into crippled artefacts from VHS Tapes, encrusted cassettes and digital feedback glitches, embedded in soft modular-synth soundscapes.

In his live act he is working with VCR Hifi, cassettes, 4 Track/ 8 Track machines and no input/fx chains.

"Vamilienfater" DJ set's can be either highly conceptual or highly eclectic - always and forever dedicated to vinyl only, his sesions span from 4-12h, setting vibes through all genres, with no fear of neither Pop nor Harsh Noise. He is one half of the bohemian drips DJ Team "lislbar & wermuth." and plays frequently at experimental underground events in Berlin as well as in clubs as ://about blank, Kater Blau, Mensch Meier, Loophole and Klunkerkranich, where he is I charge of the booking since more than 11 years.
