Vincent Patricola founded Detroit Electronic Quarterly Music Magazine and Mixpod (www.detroiteq.com.) With over 30 years as a Detroit music community connector he is often called a "DJs DJ" who regularly shares the stage with Detroit's best, showcasing a huge range of soulful music styles and vast vinyl library.
Although Vince, as of July 2024, has relocated to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts there is no taking Detroit out of the man. He remains active doing podcasts, booking DJs, record fairs, DJ mixes and next month streaming live on twitch.tv/vpatricola after a few month break.
The last 3 years have been especially fruitful for him. He was the first record store manager inside super club Spot Lite and held a weekly Thursday residency there with Jesse Cory. He also had Tuesday nights at Spkrbox and continued his Sunday B Side brunch series live from Cibo Detroit inside the Cambria hotel.
