BACK IN THE DAYS:

towLie always had a big love for the darker and weirder sounds and her first obsession was early bunker, gigolo and stilleben records. For her it all started in the early 2000, when she began going to rave parties in the Stockholm and Berlin underground. There she met her best friend Kay, who shared his big record collection with her and in his livingroom, she became addicted to spinning records. Then began to search around record shops, for new sounds and all of a sudden, she was DJing at underground rave parties and also got involved in clubs. Later on she began to experiment with her own music together with klorex55. They shared a small cottage in the swedish countryside, were they lived and built up their studio.

THESE DAYS:

towLies DJ-sets is a journey through the darker shades of life with some glimts of sun shining in. experimental industrial electro boogie dance music! Besides making music as towLie, she also has the group Empfänger with DJ Sling (Born Free) and she also has several one-man-bands, one of them is skitungen.

towLie also operates her own label, käfTen records started in 2012.
There she put out sounds by her closest family and friends including artists such as (Feeders,klorex55,FACIT,Egyptian Eyeliner….and more). These days in Stockholm towLie is hosting underground clubnights with focus on weird sweaty dance 😎

Also she is cooking in the studio, some of it wiLL end up on a plate of vinyl, some will not...
