Kontour Visions seeks to explore the emotive reaches of wave, acid, post-punk,
industrial, and body music. Drawing from touch points of the ever present and
past homes that are a part of my DNA—from the US Midwest, the South, to
currently Berlin, and beyond. Growing up in the birthplace of local idols Pere
Ubu and Emeralds—equally pioneered as they informed a well of creative
influence. The evolution was natural. The hope here is to marriage these
disparate elements in disparate places and continue what I’ve experienced in
these places. Mutant Radio is a force. It is one of the few places where these
aesthetics and values are embraced, so it is an absolute honor to be included. I
hope to extend this same gratitude and ethos on this show.
