Budnikaitė is a Vilnius based visual artist and the co-founder of Insurgency, a label and podcast series focusing on the depths of beat-driven underground industrial and experimental expression of sound.

She is an honest musical enthusiast, attracted to the bizzare and unorthodox sounds, and constantly inspired by the 80s DIY underground cassette movements. Her introduction to music started at early childhood with her mother being a musicologist, this affected her deep concentration and effort into understanding the complexity of sound.

Nowadays Budnikaite is the head of curating Insurgency and an occasional DJ looking to explore the hardly visible barriers between contemporary club music, downtempo beats and leftfield.
